Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DeadLinkRadar ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DeadLinkRadar provides automated monitoring of links to detect when links become unavailable. The Service checks link availability at intervals determined by your subscription plan and sends notifications when links are detected as dead or unavailable.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Update your information to keep it accurate and current
  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated means to abuse rate limits or check quotas
  • Monitor links to content that violates laws or third-party rights

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees owed. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.

7. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

  • False positives or false negatives in link status detection
  • Delays in link checking or alert delivery
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Data loss or corruption

8. Limitation of Liability

DeadLinkRadar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Vercel Marketplace Integration

DeadLinkRadar is available as an integration on the Vercel Marketplace. If you install DeadLinkRadar through the Vercel Marketplace, your use is also subject to:

By installing our integration, you authorize DeadLinkRadar to access your Vercel account data as described in Section 14 below.

14. Vercel Data Access

When you install DeadLinkRadar through the Vercel Marketplace, our integration requests the following OAuth permissions:

  • read:user - Access your email address for account linking
  • read:projects - List your projects for monitoring selection
  • read:deployments - Access deployment URLs to trigger link checks
  • read:teams - Access team information for billing purposes

We use this data to:

  • Link your Vercel account to your DeadLinkRadar account
  • Display your projects for monitoring configuration
  • Automatically check links after successful deployments
  • Discover sitemaps and crawl URLs on your deployed sites

OAuth access tokens are encrypted and stored securely. Tokens are automatically refreshed and are deleted when you uninstall the integration. We do not share your Vercel data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.

15. Support and Maintenance

DeadLinkRadar is committed to providing support in accordance with Vercel's support standards. For Vercel Marketplace installations, we provide:

We are solely responsible for the support and maintenance of DeadLinkRadar. Issues with Vercel's platform should be directed to Vercel support.

16. Third-Party Authentication

DeadLinkRadar allows you to sign in using third-party authentication providers, including Google and X (Twitter). By choosing to authenticate with these providers, you agree that:

  • Your use of third-party authentication is subject to that provider's terms of service
  • We receive basic profile information (email, name, profile picture) from the provider to create your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party accounts
  • We are not responsible for issues arising from your use of third-party authentication providers
