New Featurev1.18.0

AI-Powered Link Confidence Scores

Not all broken links are obvious. Some pages return "200 OK" while showing error content — and traditional checkers miss them entirely. Now you can see exactly how confident our AI is about every link in your dashboard.

Highlights:

  • Color-coded confidence — Green (high), yellow (medium), red (low) badges show AI certainty at a glance
  • Hover for details — See the analysis reason and which AI model reviewed the link
  • Sort and filter — Find uncertain links fast with the new AI confidence column and filter dropdown
  • Works everywhere — Desktop table, mobile cards, and individual link detail pages all show AI scores

How It Works:

Our AI goes beyond basic status codes. It uses advanced detection to identify soft-404s, expired pages, and other problems that traditional checkers miss. Each analysis produces a confidence score (0–100) that tells you how certain the AI is about its verdict.

High confidence means the AI is sure about the link status. Low confidence flags links worth a manual review — so you spend time on the links that actually need attention.

Getting Started:

AI confidence badges appear automatically for analyzed links. Sort by the new AI column in Dashboard → Links or filter by confidence level (High, Medium, Low) to prioritize your review queue.

New Featurev1.17.0

Broken Link Checker for Content Creators

Broken links hurt everyone—not just file hosting users. DeadLinkRadar is now a full-featured broken link checker that catches problems other tools miss, with 38+ cloud storage integrations as a bonus feature.

Highlights:

  • Smart soft-404 detection - Catches "broken" pages that return 200 OK but show error content
  • Cloud storage bonus - Monitor 38+ file hosts (Rapidgator, K2S, Nitroflare, Mega, and more)
  • Real-time alerts - Get notified via email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Teams, webhooks, or ntfy.sh
  • Built for creators - Perfect for bloggers, documentation teams, affiliate marketers, and agencies

How It Works:

Most link checkers only look at HTTP status codes. A site can return "200 OK" while showing "File Not Found" to users—traditional checkers miss this completely.

DeadLinkRadar analyzes page content to detect soft-404s, expired embeds, and broken video links. You'll catch problems before your readers do.

Who This Helps:

  • Bloggers - Protect your SEO rankings from link rot
  • Documentation teams - Keep product guides accurate and trustworthy
  • Affiliate marketers - Never lose commissions from broken links
  • Agencies - Monitor client sites without manual checks

Getting Started:

Import your links at Dashboard → Links. Choose bulk import (paste URLs), CSV upload, or JSON import. Set up alerts in Dashboard → Alerts.

Deep dive: Read our guide on The Hidden Cost of Broken Links to see how link rot impacts SEO, credibility, and conversions.

New Featurev1.16.1

Real-Time Progress Tracking

Clicking "Check Now" and staring at a static screen is frustrating. Now you'll see exactly what's happening—with live progress phases and elapsed timers that update in real-time.

Highlights:

  • Phase visibility - Watch checks move through Queued → Bypassing → Checking → Complete
  • Live elapsed timer - See how long each check has been running
  • Protected site detection - Extra "Bypassing" phase shows when advanced processing is needed
  • Auto-close on complete - Modal closes automatically 2 seconds after the check finishes

How It Works:

When you click "Check Now" on any link, a progress modal appears showing:

  1. Current phase - Which step the check is on
  2. Elapsed time - Live timer counting up
  3. Visual progress - Step indicators show completed phases

Normal sites go through 3 phases (Queued → Checking → Complete). Protected sites show an additional "Bypassing" phase when extra processing is required.

Getting Started:

Click "Check Now" on any link in your dashboard. The progress modal appears automatically—no configuration needed.

New Featurev1.12.1

Site-Wide Search

Hunting for that one article about email digests? Trying to remember which changelog mentioned file hosting? Scrolling through pages of content hoping to spot the right one.

Now you can search across everything—documentation, blog posts, and changelog entries—from a single search box. Results are weighted by relevance, so the most useful content surfaces first.

Highlights

  • Unified search - One search box covers docs, blog posts, and changelog entries. No more hunting through separate sections
  • Weighted scoring - Results ranked by relevance so you find what matters without wading through noise
  • Fast results - Returns up to 50 matches instantly with clean, scannable formatting
  • Keyboard friendly - Navigate results without touching your mouse

How It Works

Head to the search page from the navigation bar. Type your query and results appear immediately, organized by content type. Each result shows a snippet so you can quickly scan for what you need.

Behind the scenes, search indexes all public content and scores matches based on where your terms appear—titles rank higher than body text, recent content gets a slight boost.

What You Get

  • Documentation search - Find setup guides, API references, and how-to articles
  • Blog search - Locate tutorials, best practices, and feature deep-dives
  • Changelog search - Track down when specific features launched or bugs were fixed
  • Combined results - See everything relevant in one place

Getting Started

Click the search icon in the navigation or visit /search directly. Start typing and results appear. Works great on mobile too—the same search experience scales down cleanly.

Perfect for power users who want to quickly reference past content, developers looking up API documentation, and anyone tired of clicking through multiple sections to find what they need.

New Featurev1.11.0

Link Groups with Custom Colors

Tired of scrolling through endless link lists? Now organize your monitored links into color-coded groups. Filter, sort, and find what you need instantly.

Highlights

  • Unlimited custom groups - Create as many groups as you need: by project, client, priority, or any system that works for you
  • 8 preset colors + custom hex - Choose from ready-made colors or define your exact brand colors
  • Bulk assignment - Select multiple links and assign them to a group in one action
  • Filter by group - Instantly narrow your view to see only the links that matter right now

How It Works

Groups are visual labels that help you organize without changing how monitoring works. Each link can belong to one group, and you can change assignments anytime.

Color coding appears throughout your dashboard: in the links table, on individual link pages, and in status reports. When you filter by group, all other views update to match.

Getting Started

Head to Dashboard → Links and look for the group column. Click any link's group cell to assign it, or select multiple links and use the bulk action menu.

We'd love to hear how you're using groups to organize your monitoring.

Link Groups with Custom Colors

Managing hundreds of links in one long list gets chaotic fast. Which links belong to ProjectAlpha? Which are client files? Endless scrolling, constant searching. It's exactly the kind of friction that slows you down.

Now you can organize links into custom groups with color coding and instant filtering. Create as many groups as you need, assign links in bulk, and filter to see exactly what matters right now.

Highlights

  • Visual organization - Color-coded groups with 8 presets or your own custom hex colors to match your brand or workflow
  • Bulk assignment - Select multiple links and assign them to a group with one click. No tedious one-by-one editing
  • Instant filtering - Show only links in a specific group, or view ungrouped links separately
  • Auto-save editing - Edit group names, descriptions, and colors. Changes save automatically as you type—no submit button needed

How It Works

Create a group from your dashboard and give it a name, optional description, and color. Then select multiple links from your links page and use the batch actions menu to assign them all to that group at once.

Filter your links list by group to focus on what matters. Agency managing 5 clients? Create a group per client with brand colors. Tracking APIs? Group by environment (Production/Staging/Dev). Content creator? Group by platform.

What You Get

  • Unlimited groups - No artificial limits on how you organize
  • Non-destructive deletion - Delete a group and links stay intact, just become ungrouped. Your data never disappears
  • Real-time updates - Changes reflect instantly across your dashboard
  • Complete control - Rename, recolor, or delete groups whenever your organization needs change

Getting Started

Head to your dashboard and visit the groups page. Create your first group—give it a name, pick a color if you want, and you're done. Then go to your links page and use the batch actions to assign links to your groups.

Perfect for agencies managing multiple clients, developers organizing APIs by environment, and anyone who manages link collections across different projects or workflows.

New Featurev1.8.0

Usage Forecast Widget

Running up against your link limit by surprise is frustrating. You're adding links, everything's working fine, and suddenly you can't add any more. Not anymore.

Our new usage forecast widget predicts when you'll hit your tier's link limit based on your actual growth patterns, giving you weeks of advance notice instead of a surprise roadblock.

Highlights

  • Growth-based forecasting - Analyzes your last 30 days of link additions to calculate average daily growth
  • Days until limit - Shows exactly how many days until you'll hit your tier's link limit
  • Smart status indicators - Visual warnings when you're getting close (warning at 30 days, critical at 7 days)
  • Proactive upgrade prompts - Get reminded to upgrade before you actually need to

How It Works

The forecast widget appears on your dashboard and monitors your link growth automatically. It calculates your average daily growth rate from the past month and projects when you'll reach your plan's limit.

Status indicators:

  • Healthy - More than 30 days until limit, or under 80% usage
  • Warning - Less than 30 days until limit, or over 80% usage
  • Critical - Less than 7 days until limit, or over 95% usage

Edge Cases Handled

We've built this to be smart about edge cases:

  • New users without 30 days of data see accurate forecasts based on available history
  • Users already at their limit get an immediate upgrade prompt
  • Negative or zero growth (pruning links) shows no warning
  • Accounts with erratic growth patterns get conservative estimates

Getting Started

The usage forecast widget is automatically visible on your dashboard. No configuration needed—it just works.

Perfect for power users managing hundreds or thousands of links who want to plan their upgrades strategically instead of hitting limits unexpectedly.

JSON Import for Bulk Links

Power users and developers, this one's for you. We've added JSON import as a third import method alongside Paste Links and Upload CSV, making it easy to migrate links from other services or automate your monitoring setup.

Highlights

  • Two flexible formats - Import as a simple URL array or as objects with metadata
  • Full validation pipeline - Same duplicate detection, normalization, and preview as other import methods
  • Drag and drop - Simply drop your JSON file to get started
  • Query parameter handling - Intelligently detects and preserves URL parameters when needed

Supported Formats

The JSON importer accepts two clean formats for maximum flexibility:

Format 1: Array of URL strings

["https://k2s.cc/file/abc123", "https://nitroflare.com/view/xyz789"]

Format 2: Array of objects with url field

[
  {"url": "https://k2s.cc/file/abc123"},
  {"url": "https://example.com", "name": "optional metadata"}
]

After parsing, you'll see the validation preview showing valid links, duplicates, and any issues before importing.

Getting Started

  1. Go to Dashboard → Links → Add Links
  2. Click the JSON tab
  3. Drag and drop your JSON file or click to browse
  4. Review the validation preview

New Featurev1.5.0

Bluesky Link Monitoring

DeadLinkRadar provides deep integration with Bluesky, the decentralized social network. Track your Bluesky content with the same reliability you expect for file hosting links.

Highlights

  • Profile monitoring - Track any Bluesky profile URL for availability
  • Post tracking - Monitor individual posts and threads
  • All handle formats - Works with usernames, custom domains, and DIDs
  • Accurate detection - Know immediately when content becomes unavailable

Supported URL Patterns

Add any Bluesky link to your dashboard:

  • Profiles: https://bsky.app/profile/username.bsky.social
  • Custom domains: https://bsky.app/profile/yourdomain.com
  • Posts: https://bsky.app/profile/username.bsky.social/post/abc123

Social content is ephemeral. Profiles get suspended, posts get deleted, and accounts change handles. If you're referencing Bluesky content in your documentation, blog posts, or content archives, DeadLinkRadar ensures those links stay valid.

Get notified when your tracked Bluesky content becomes unavailable, so you can update your references before your users encounter broken links.

GitHub File-Level Monitoring

We've expanded GitHub monitoring to support file-level link checking, giving you precise verification of specific files within repositories.

Highlights

  • File-level precision - Monitor individual files, not just repositories
  • Branch awareness - Track files on specific branches
  • Path verification - Confirm exact file paths exist

How It Works

Add any GitHub file URL to monitor specific files. DeadLinkRadar verifies both the repository exists and the specific file is accessible at the given path and branch.

Whether you're tracking a dependency's configuration file, a documentation page, or a specific code file, you'll know immediately if it gets moved or deleted.

Supported URL Patterns

  • Repository: https://github.com/owner/repo
  • File: https://github.com/owner/repo/blob/main/path/to/file.js
  • Any branch: https://github.com/owner/repo/blob/develop/config.json

Use Cases

  • Dependency tracking - Monitor config files in projects you depend on
  • Documentation links - Ensure your external docs links stay valid
  • Reference monitoring - Track specific code examples or tutorials

New Featurev1.3.0

Smart Link Deduplication

Say goodbye to duplicate links cluttering your dashboard. DeadLinkRadar now intelligently identifies when you've added the same link in different formats and consolidates them automatically.

Highlights

  • Automatic deduplication - Different formats of the same link are recognized as one
  • Clean URLs - Marketing trackers and extra parameters are handled gracefully
  • Service-aware - Optimized handling for YouTube, K2S, Nitroflare, and more

How It Works

When you add a link, DeadLinkRadar automatically recognizes equivalent URLs. Whether you paste http://www.example.com/page?utm_source=email or https://example.com/page, we know it's the same destination.

This means:

  • No more accidental duplicates
  • Cleaner organization
  • More accurate link counts

Supported Services

Special handling for popular file hosts and video platforms ensures the most accurate deduplication possible. YouTube video links, K2S file links, and many more are handled with service-specific intelligence.

  • Individual link estimates - See "Check Now (~3s)" or "Check Now (~45s)" for each link
  • Batch estimates - When checking multiple links, see the total estimated time
  • Protected site indicator - Warning icon shows when batch includes Cloudflare-protected sites

Why This Matters

Some file hosting services use Cloudflare protection, which requires our bypass system and takes 30-60 seconds per check. Regular sites typically take just 1-3 seconds.

Now you'll always know what to expect before clicking "Check Now".

New Feature

Protected Site Badge

Links from Cloudflare-protected services now display a shield badge, making it easy to identify which links require our bypass system.

Features

  • Visual shield icon next to protected links
  • Tooltip with details showing bypass response time
  • Supported services - ExLoad, TakeFile, and others with Cloudflare protection

This helps you understand why some checks take longer than others and confirms our bypass system is working for your protected links.
